Immerse yourself in the rich history of Hull’s Old Town with a guided walking tour led by local expert, Paul Schofield.

This gentle tour focuses on the Tudor period, highlighting the significant impact of Henry VIII in fortifying the eastern defences of the city.

The tour will culminate at the historic South Blockhouse, where participants will learn about this hidden gem of Hull’s past and the exciting future plans for its preservation and engagement.

These tours are funded by Hull Maritime as part of the South Blockhouse engagement programme, aimed at raising awareness and appreciation for the Tudor period in Hull.
