Explore our rich maritime history with guided walks
New for 2026 – Guided Tours of Hull Marina
Take an in depth look at Hull’s historic Marina with our accredited tour guides.
To celebrate the opening of the iconic Spurn Lightship we are offering one hour paid guided tours of the surrounding marina.
Starting at the Lightship the tour takes in the origins of the dock, it’s place within the city’s wider port and conversion to a working marina and leisure destination.
The tour is approximately 1.25 km using public pavements and crossing the marina lock gates.
There is no shelter from the elements along most of the route and limited or no seating at stopping points. There are sections next to open water. The route is level but the marina lock gates may not be suitable for all types of wheelchairs. The route can be tweaked on the day to suit wheelchair users if necessary.
The one-hour walking tours will run every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 11.30am. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are £5 and you can book your place here.
