Dive into Hull’s seafaring history on this fully restored, much-loved vessel.

Thanks to the Hull Maritime project the Spurn Lightship is restored to tell its story.

Following a 14 month restoration, the Spurn Lightship is now a floating museum once again and will preserve the vessel for another 100 years. Find out more here.

The Spurn Lightship was a beacon of Hull’s waterways for almost 50 years. Built in 1927, it guided ships through the treacherous waters of the River Humber.
