The Spurn Lightship has received a 14-month restoration programme by local company, Dunston Ship Repairs, thanks to National Lottery players and Hull City Council.
Here are some before and after pictures to showcase the workmanship involved.
The lightship will re-open to visitors early 2024, at a new wet berth near Murdoch's Connection and the Holiday Inn.
