The restoration of the Spurn Lightship is reaching the final stages, with just a few months left to complete the finishing touches.
The Spurn Lightship is a year into its restoration and has been painted back to its original colour of black, the paint was applied using airless paint machine and sprayed on.
The deck on board is being retained and the lantern is being restored.
Other repairs and work are ongoing to the deckhouse including fitting refurbished windows and doors.
