On Friday 14 August, the Arctic Corsair moved from Albert Dock to her new home at North End Shipyard along the River Hull. It marked the end of the vessel’s sailing life and the start of a new chapter in a dry-dock, creating a new visitor attaction.

With the trawler now in place in the dry-dock at North End Shipyard, the next phase of work will focus on installing the walkways and bridges that will physically connect the visitor centre to the Arctic Corsair. These access structures are a vital step before the attraction can open to the public, enabling visitors to safely board the vessel and fully engage with her story.
It is exptected to open to visitors in spring 2027.
