Square Peg artists are running a series of creative workshops with students at Malet Lambert school, exploring the story of Ravenser Odd.

The first workshops saw students discuss the demise of Ravenser Odd and think about what items you would save if you were told you had to evacuate due to flooding.

The next workshops involved students creating a Ravenser relic out of clay. Participants made objects that might have been found during an imagined trip to the lost town, creating a museum of lost items.

These creative workshops are funded by Hull Maritime and form part of collaborative project with the Hull History Centre, The National Archives and The University of Sussex which brings the story of Ravenser Odd to life in the exhibition: ‘Hull/Ravenser Odd: twin cities, sunken pasts'.
