C R Reynolds are continuing to make good progress on redeveloping Queens Gardens. Here is an update. 

The eight segments around the Rose Bowl are being renovated and levelled
Turf is now being laid around the newly planted trees, which are a new feature around Rose Bowl
Once the turf has rooted the popular flower beds will be created around September time
Then the traditional flowers will be planted
The boundary walls are being built
And making good progress along Guildhall Road
New amphitheatre seating is being created and new maritime artwork will be installed on granite steps
New accessible ramps are part way through construction
Trees continue to be planted
These trees form the new rain garden, which is part of a sustainable drainage system to help with surface water management
The trees are all planted and will mature in time
These trees are 35-40 years old and fast growing
Granite paving along Guildhall Road is being laid
Trees have also been planted along Guildhall Road
