As 2023 draws to a close, here is the latest restoration update for the Arctic Corsair.
Dunston Ship Repairs are now in the final stages of physical restoration, working with our team on the countless details needed to make the ship as authentic as possible prior to the detailed ‘fitting out’ of exhibits and visitor infrastructure. Work is being done to complete the electrical work, flooring, internal painting, reupholstering, installation of historic navigation and wireless equipment and the final furnishings.
The next major step is to install the new lift so all visitors can access the fish hold for the first time.
