The Hull Maritime project is inviting everyone to become a Hull Maritime Friend.

The new Maritime Friends programme will bring our supporters closer to Hull’s maritime heritage and raise funds so that we can make the Hull Maritime project a reality for our city.

Helen May, Fundraising Manager, said: “Becoming a Hull Maritime Friend is a fantastic way to show your support and as a thank you will enjoy some great benefits.

“You will make a huge difference to preserving our maritime history and be part of our extraordinary journey towards opening a refurbished museum, and new visitor attraction at the North End Shipyard. And that’s why every Friend is important to us.”

In return for an annual gift – we suggest a minimum donation of £25 – our Maritime Friends will be given privileged online access to the Hull Maritime project as it develops via exclusive interviews, films, images and information at regular intervals throughout the year.

Alternatively, you can also show your support by becoming a Patron of the Hull Maritime Foundation, with two levels of benefits you will can delve deeper into the project and be invited to exclusive events. You can find more information here.

If you or someone you know would like to become a Maritime Friend, contact Helen May, Fundraising Manager, at hymc@hullcc.gov.uk or complete our contact us form.

Every sign-up will help us celebrate and preserve Hull’s unique maritime heritage for years to come.
