Join our volunteer team and be part of our city’s maritime story!
Volunteers will support the running of this visitor attraction, greeting visitors and sharing the rich story of Hull’s maritime history and the role the lightship played.
You will receive training on the story of the lightship and the wider museum and cultural offer.
We’re looking for new people to join the existing team of volunteers, who are passionate about our wonderful city and heritage.
Volunteer shifts between 2 - 4 hours will be available up to seven days-a-week to match the lightship’s seasonal opening times.
