The Hull Maritime project, like many other large-scale projects within the heritage and museum sectors, has been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The core project team, along with our specialist consultants, is continuing to make good progress working on the designs, specifications and contract documentation. However, inevitably project timescales will need to be revised, but rest assured we are doing as much as we can.
We are also reviewing our extensive activity and engagement plan to look at how we can deliver the various elements of the programme differently until the situation changes. It’s vital you continue to be part of the journey and we’re working to identify alternative ways to involve you.
Good progress is being made in preparing the documents to procure the range of specialist services and the numerous tenders will be going live shortly.
