Hull City Council has published a Notice of Key Decision which will seek permission from Cabinet to procure the main elements of the ambitious project to transform some of Hull’s maritime treasures.

The Notice of Key Decision also requests the approval of the proposed procurement processes, the criteria to be used in assessing the bids and the delegation of powers to ensure timely decisions are made.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund awarded Hull City Council a grant of £13.6m on 2 October and this is the next key milestone. The council has also committed £10m to enable the project to come to fruition.

A full Cabinet paper will be uploaded prior to the Cabinet meeting on Monday 16 December..

If approved, the council will launch a tender procurement exercise. The scheme will go out to market for a range of specialist services in order to deliver the large-scale programme.
