Landmarks across Hull city centre will be lit in blue light on 9 and 10 March to celebrate the project that will transform the city’s maritime treasures and its new look.

The project is entering an exciting and crucial phase of the project and has today revealed its new look and urges the community to get involved.

From dusk, (approximately 6pm) until 11.30pm on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 March, Hull City Council will be lighting up the following the buildings and structures.

  • Ferens Art Gallery
  • Hull City Hall
  • Hull Minster
  • The Guildhall
  • The Wilberforce Monument
  • Solar Gate (Queens Gardens)
  • Murdoch’s Connection footbridge (over A63 Castle Street)

The new look logo will be bathed on Ferens Art Gallery, Hull City Hall and the Maritime Museum.
