As part of the new visitor attraction at North End Shipyard, Hull's last remaining crane is being restored.

Before restoration and in its original position

Specialist company, Mona Lifting are undertaking the restoration of the crane and are in the final stages of giving the crane some much needed TLC. Securing its future for generations to come.

Here is a video of when the crane was dismantled and transported to Wales for the process to start.

Mona are currently completing the crane cabin which is on their site which should be completed within the next two weeks.

The images below show the main crane structure that is now complete and under wraps ready for its return to Hull.

Back at North End Shipyard, the support blocks for where the crane will be installed have been created next to the new visitor centre.

These are ready for the crane's return early next year.
