September 2024

The much loved flower beds are returning to the Rose Bowl following some TLC. Now, preparations are taking place prior to the planting getting underway.

A tiny robot line marker is being used to mark out the new planting beds in the Rose Bowl, it uses GPS for pinpoint accuracy to ensure the beds are central.

Each bed will be 64square metres, single trees with have seasonal bedding, three trees with an inner circle of perennial planning and then season bedding on the outside.

It also does line marking for football pitches.

The turf is being removed and lines are being cut, along with soil and compost cultivated ahead of planting next month.
